THE BAND

Formed during the pandemic and enduring many challenges since then, Memphis-based rock band SKIFF is taking the next step on their musical journey with the release of their full-length album "See It Through." Bassist & frontman Mike Palvado (Disembrace, Against the Horizon), guitarist Joe "Redbeard" Cassatta (Cult of the Flag, Killjay), and drummer Tim Krause have crafted a comprehensive collection of thought-provoking lyrics set to powerful melodic hard rock. The album includes remixed & remastered versions of their three 2022 releases: "Hope Laid Low," "Nobody Cares," and "You Not Me," along with seven new songs. From love and betrayal to misinformation and dealing with a variety of difficult people, the album certainly covers a lot of ground. The song "See It Through" may seem to be the oddball with its more inspirational message, but for Mike, that made                                                                                                     it the perfect choice for the title track.

"At the time we started recording the rest of the songs, I was still wrestling with what direction to take the album from a visual standpoint. One night, I went online and did a deep dive on some of the ideas I wrote about and stumbled upon the image that became the album cover. Within 10 seconds, I thought, 'Wow. This is it. And the title is "See It Through"'. It instantly put the whole album into perspective for me. Because yeah, we all have our struggles and pain, things we need to vent about; the storms that always seem to surround and overwhelm us. But we owe it to ourselves to persevere and find the happiness and purpose that is meant for us. Our time on
Earth is finite, so make the most of every moment."
